Frame and sash glazing gaskets

In order to ensure upvc windows and doors' satisfactory tightness, sealing strips should be installed on windows and doors. The sealing strips mainly include gasket and woolpile. The rubber gasket mainly have two types: one on the frame and sash, and the other on the glazing bead. The woolpile is used on the sliding doors or windows to guarantee the sealing between the frame and sash.

The weld sprue in the range of the sealing grooves is removed with suitable instruments or machines.

The insertion of the glazing gaskets occurs in most cases from the centre of the top cross piece, continuous in one length. The cut ends are to be sealed with a suitable sealant/adhesive.

The glazing gaskets must be inserted into the slots without tension and/or rolled and compressed, (length increase approx. 1%).
