Welding machine basic process parameters
As the adjustment values of the different upvc window welding machines vary from each other, FENSTEK can only indicate theoretical values:
Welding temperature(measured at the plate) 240 to 270°C
Clamping pressure 0.4 to 0.6MPa
Welding pressure 0.3 to 0.4MPa
Joining pressure 0.4 to 0.5MPa
Welding time 20 to 40 sec
Cooling time 25 to 35 sec
Above are basic process parameters and may vary for different machines, conditions and profiles* specifications. The optimum welding parameters could be found out through test (calibrate different parameter instruments before welding to ensure compliance of the displayed and actual value). While:
1.adjust the upvc window profile welding temperature to be within the scope of the process parameter and make sure the bonding surface at welding is at the best plasticizing zone. Adjust by 1~2D at each time. The actual temperature could be judged through the surface status (slightly yellow welding beading).
2. Set the melting time between 20s~30s preliminarily. Make fine adjustment on time when having adjusted the welding temperature. The cooling time is set within 25s~35s, which could be prolonged, if necessary.
3. The clamping pressure is adjusted within 0.4Mpa~0.6Mpa to ensure no displacement or deformation of the profile at butt joint The melting pressure is adjusted within 0.3Mpa~0.4Mpa to ensure that the weldment end surface is leveled quickly. The joining pressure is adjusted within 0.4Mpa~0.5Mpa to ensure sufficient pressure.
